【人類學史理論與發展】課程大綱2019年秋季

【課程說明】：

        本課程為針對南島研究碩士班同學規劃的人類學理論與思想史。課程的主旨在以深入淺出的方式，介紹同學認識：人類學對於「人類」現象的理解，既有其共同的基本關懷，在此共同關懷之上，因為時代與整體學術思潮的推移，更發展出各種不同的理論與學說。這些學說之間活潑的對話，就是人類學思潮的主軸。它們彼此間或者互相傳承、或者互相辯證，有的著重思辯、有的強調行動。由各週課程的主題中，同學也會看到：整個人類學的發展，在不同的時代，都對當時的政治、社會、文化運動，產生過刺激與催化的作用。

        課程的目標，希望修課同學在完成課程要求後：（一）能夠由人類學的角度，對於當代社會思潮中的各種議題與議論的來龍去脈，有基本的理解與掌握；（二）對於有志於人類學領域中繼續深造的同學，可以具備未來對於特定理論學派進修鑽研的基礎。

【課程設計】：

        以一本英文教科書為主軸，希望同學完整閱讀這一本英文著作。針對各週主題，稍後將另行增列中、英文參考文獻。修課及旁聽同學，都將透過分組，負責某二週主題的小組報告，以及兩週的提問。前四週由教師講授，小組報告自第五週開始。
